TheBumpWA offers a range of pregnancy classes with up-to-date, evidence based information, delivered in an engaging and positive way.  We have a significant lending library and provide midwifery advice to pregnant women and their partners, wherever they are having their baby.  We also offer support for the early days of parenting; low cost lactation consultation when you are getting breastfeeding established, and Mother Nurture groups for when you are struggling with the demands of early parenting.  Our pregnancy classes and early parenting services are free to all Community Midwifery Program clients, but are offered to anyone in the community, generally for a fee.

Looking for midwife led care?

The Community Midwifery Program (CMP) is a unique service available to Perth women experiencing a low risk pregnancy. We pride ourselves in protecting, promoting and supporting normal birth with a high percentage of our clients choosing to give birth in water. The CMP provides safe, evidence-based, continuity of care from a known midwife throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and up to four weeks postnatally. The CMP can support you to have your baby at home, at the Family Birth Centre or Kalamunda Birth Unit, or in a public hospital.
